Social media management sharing options

Digital Marketing requires companies to have a social media presence regardless of the industry they are in. It is almost certain that your target market is active on a social media platform. To ensure you have an active social media presence, producing meaningful and relatable content for your customers is important. However, there is a strategy for your content marketing that includes using multiple platforms and different pieces of content. Using a social media management tool that allows you to share, post, and schedule content from a central location is beneficial for your success. Let’s take a look at 3 management tools that allow you to do this.

HubSpot

HubSpot is one of the most popular and well-known cloud-based CRM platforms in the market today. HubSpot offers a wide variety of products that target different areas of business. This includes CRM, marketing, sales, CMS, operations, and services. For this, we will be focusing on HubSpot’s marketing services.

HubSpot’s marketing services provide businesses with a diverse selection of tools that are designed specifically for the marketing department. These tools are focused on allowing businesses to have a seamless process for creating content across multiple platforms and channels such as social media, email, blogs, and your website. Included within these tools, HubSpot provides tracking and reporting metrics for the data that is important to you.

Today, HubSpot’s content marketing services allow businesses to schedule content to all channels and platforms from a central location. HootSuite

HootSuite, similar to HubSpot, is a well-known digital marketing management system that allows businesses to create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms in a central location. This social media management software advertises itself as a platform that will allow you to save time on your work due to the features that it provides and overcome creator’s block. Some of these features include post ideas, generated templates, and a hashtag generator.

In addition, HootSuite allows you to track and keep up with engagement. You can connect with your audience, manage all of your social media messages, and respond quickly all in one place. This eliminates the hassle of being logged into each social media account separately and responding in that manner. Some of the engagement features include automated message replies, saved message replies, automated tagging and assignments, and inbox analytics.

Furthermore, HootSuite provides users with social listening. This allows businesses to stay on top of brand mentions, trends, industry leaders, and competition. This is very helpful as it provides great detail and insight into how your target market is perceiving your business and the market as a whole. Just like all platforms now, HootSuite also provides analytic tracking. Tracking analytics helps businesses make strategic decisions such as time of post. HootSuite’s analytics features include post-performance reports, sentiment reporting, industry benchmarks, report scheduling and exporting, and custom reports.

Also, if you’re a business that utilizes paid advertising, HootSuite also allows you to manage your paid social media ads alongside your organic content within a social media calendar.

SocialPilot

SocialPilot, lesser known than HubSpot and HootSuite, is a growing management tool that is not shying away from its competition. This tool is a social media management tool that allows you to create, schedule, and publish various pieces of content across social media platforms. In addition, SocialPilot is compatible with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Tumblr and Google Business Profile.

For Instagram, direct publishing to business accounts supports carousel image posts and single video posts. Posts for Instagram personal accounts are supported by mobile reminders. However, this is a unique user experience in comparison to how other social accounts interact with SocialPilot.

Once scheduled, you can easily manage all of your posts within a social media calendar. This calendar allows you to easily move and structure your posts to align with your strategy. If you scheduled on a wrong day, the calendar allows you to grab and drop your post into the desired day without having to delete and recreate the post. SocialPilot focuses on creating an easy-to-use platform for its users as one of its main competitive advantages and it certainly achieves that.

The tool is straightforward and provides users with a navigation tour the first time they log in. For its features, SocialPilot has a great management system. SocialPilot allows you to organize accounts into relevant groups. For example, you may have many different accounts that you use for your company. You can group all of those accounts into one large group. If you plan to post the same content across all channels, it’s as easy as clicking on the group rather than each individual account.

Costs and Integration

SocialPilot is the cheapest of the three. It offers many pricing options to allow them to target small businesses and large enterprises. All pricing options provide the same features; however, the more expensive options give you a larger scale of operations. SocialPilot’s pricing options are as follows:

  • Professional: $30/month or $25.50/month billed annually
    • Manage 10 social accounts, 1 user
  • Small Team: $50/month or $42.50/month billed annually
    • 20 Social accounts, 3 users, unlimited clients
  • Studio: $100/month or $85/month billed annually
    • 30 social accounts, 6 users, unlimited clients
  • Agency: $125/month or $106.25/month billed annually
    • 50 social accounts, 9 users, unlimited clients, white label

As for the integrations, SocialPilot lacks direct integration compared to its competitors. However, there is a workaround for this. However, SocialPilot supports integration with Zapier. Zapier is a third-party web service that handles the integration of web apps. This allows users of SocialPilot to connect with more than 1,000 apps if they connect to Zapier, enabling them to share data with ease. However, the downside of this workaround is that Zapier is not free so you will have to pay if you want to utilize this integration feature.

In addition, SocialPilot also has a content curation feature that allows users to do a keyword search and provides them with public content that they can then schedule to post right then and there.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • User-friendly
  • Affordable price
  • Social media calendar and scheduling posts
  • Multiple platform posting
  • Curated content
  • Able to post to Facebook groups that provide permission.

Cons:

  • The interface is not high quality
  • Lacks advanced features
  • Tagging only works for business pages
