Central Portage VCB offers excellent opportunities for new and current residents to find places to visit, locate upcoming events, find the best eateries, and so much more. However, the old site wasn’t delivering these great opportunities to its visitors. The website had poor structure design, inconsistent navigational structure, and outdated website design. To transform Central Portage VCB into a leading visitor bureau, IGV needed to understand its audience and focus on bringing forth what matters most to viewers. IGV’s team worked closely with Central Portage to develop a strong website design and a layout to improve the user experience. After several iterations and much review, IGV and Central Portage successfully designed a website that better highlights the website’s purpose and delivers accessible content.

The results come back with positive outcomes. Traffic increased throughout the website, and page dropoff was reduced on the home page. Visitors to the website could easily find upcoming events, reducing the number of calls made about upcoming events, and so forth. The responsive design also allowed Central Portage to reach mobile audiences, which ultimately improved traffic.
