ABOUT RPC ELECTRONICS

RPC provides Industrial OEMs with valuable solutions of electronic components, kitting, assembly services, and obsolescence design services. RPC’s audited 20,000 square foot warehouse and assembly areas are organized to ensure each customer has its own secure production while we still create valuable efficiency from our experience and business practices

THE OBJECTIVE

PRC Electronics had a goal and a vision to modernize its new website appearance to give it a competitive edge in an aggressive environment. Vital to their success, they need a website that was also responsive to mobile devices and had Call to Actions that would help bring in new leads.

THE CHALLENGE

RPC Electronics approached IGV with the challenge of redesigning the website. This new redesign would focus on increasing leads by improving the informational structure on the site and making clear Call To Actions.

THE APPROACH

Our approach began with an analysis of the website and what we felt would work best for our client. We started with the content by working closely with RPC to eliminate unnecessary content and revised keywords. From there, we then transformed the material into a ‘Wireframe’ that visually communicates the content structure of the new website. Following that, we converted our vision into a graphical design that gives our client a complete reflection of the end product.

THE RESULT

The experience was hard to enjoy for web visitors because the website was not organized, and the reading and type font was not easy to read. As for current members, the existing member directory presented a poor user experience. Because the directory did not integrate with the website, it wasn’t easy to view and slow to operate. Members could not update their information freely, leaving contact information outdated.
